Erik vs Roy timeline

A reader recently asked:

I am confused. In Roy's stories, there is war with Kermac, & Narth are not Union members, but Roy & Erik have met. In Erik, no war with Kermac, although it is close. Is the war in Roy's stories the one the Blues end in a truce? How far apart are they in time?

Eric Thor Olafson Union Citizen,

Born on Nilfeheim October 7th 4999,

There is an 85 years difference.

When Wetmouth aka Shea Schwartz is adopted by Rex Schwartz (in First Journeys ) Roy is retiring from the Marines.

When he meets Eric at the Crystal Ball, he is retired and about 89 years old. An 89-year-old in 5018 OTT is not the same as an 89-year-old today. The average lifespan of humans is 150-200 years.

The Narth are members ever since the last Y'All Invasion but requested to be isolated. They decided to be active participants when Eric was born and they sent the Young Narth to the Academy.

The Green Hell Incident

led to the Kermac / Union War of 4931

that lasted till 4943 OTT

The second armistice conference was held in 4941 OTT mainly due to the interference/suggestion of the Blue and the Belmac . The 3rd Union/GC war ends in 4943- Also known as the Maxwell Incident War or the Green Hell Incident War.

Noteworthy correction

If Roy was born on March 15, 4914 then he would have been about 99 years old when he retired from the Union Marines in 5014 (around the time he met Shea.

When Roy and Eric met at the 5019 Crystal Ball, Roy was about 104-105 and Eric was about 20 years old.
