Okay, I found a solution to my editing problems. It's a company called Grammarly and they do offer expert help on editing and they charge .099 per word (that is an average of 630 bucks per chapter. that would be $15,675 per Volume or $117,425 for 11 volumes. Unless I win the lottery, find a truly generous patron or a traditional publisher provides an editor. This is the best I can do. There is a Gofundme Page if you want to help
rel="nofollow">gofundme page of mine that tries to raise money exactly for that purpose. Editing, professional promotion, finding an agent, getting a new laptop, etc.

PS. SOL editors have not really worked out mostly due to the sheer volume and then many are not exactly real editors to be honest. I had a dozen offers or more and none so far stayed with me for more than a few chapters. And even some of the corrected chapters appear to have editing problems.

my call for advice and input was more successful than I could have imagined. I got a slew of very good advice. I realized I was too close to the trees, to see the forest.
I have deleted all the confusing stand-alone and re-numbered the Volumes. Thank you all so very much!

I am Vanessa Ravencroft and I am the author of the Galactic Chronicles series. Due to recent health problems. I lost the money and funds to pay and hire a professional editor.
I do have a very dedicated, still small reader and fan community.
I am encouraged by their comments to seek professional publishing.
Just a week ago, I was hospitalized with my third cardiac problem (SVT) and received ablation.
Just to show you, every time I think I see a little light. I get more medical bills.
So, I am here asking if you guys could help me out so I can keep the lights on, pay for the internet. (And hopefully for an editor)
This bill is just the latest example and for one day only. They took care of $4,005.94 and I have to take care of the rest (my co-payment) $ 35,189.81.
Not to complain, but whenever I think I slowly get out od the hole. I get pushed back.

Sorry for the delay
Sorry for the delay. For two days I was out of the Internet (Took me long phone calls with the provider.

They wanted me to wait till Monday to pick up a new router at their store, but after enough complaining and moaning they sent out a Technician and it turned out I wasn't the only one. Some sort of "Node" for the neighborhood was bad or something.

Anyway long story short. I had no internet, other than my phone. To make this up, I promise to release the next chapter in a day or so... I spent the Internet free time to work on the next one, so I am almost there anyway...;-)
