Many folks have pointed out that my most recent story is not about incest but cheating and cuckoldry. I know better but just slipped. I have put a disclaimer at the front of it. It IS a Flash story and I worked to keep it as short as it is on purpose.

Got a 3.85 for my latest flash story. A new record low I think. The scores range form 1s to 10s with every one represented. An I thought that readers liked incest stories from what I have seen others post. Hmmm. What did I do differently?

Those of you who have read very many of the hundreds of stories I've posted here must realize that I'm not a one-theme wonder like those who can do hundreds of chapters on a single story. Just a different approach, I guess.

It's been very interesting to get reader's reactions to the different things I've tried just as I have enjoyed writing about sexual activity from different viewpoints. Not every one, that's for sure, since I have my individual interests just like any one. It's been fun and I have well over a hundred stories already written and waiting to post. Just working on spacing them out as new ones keep popping into my head all the time.

Still my new record keeper Flash holds its own. Out of the over 400 stories I have posted here there are only five in the 4's and this is the winner for the bottom score. I did notice that several others in the range were Flash also so I guess that may say something but I don't know what. I've got 60 "flashers" written so I'll keep doling them out each Friday no matter what. Gotta get em off the shelf, after all.

Wow! I've gained a whole scoring point for my Friday Flash from discerning readers. All the way to the low 4's. The real payoff for authors here is the comments we get. I've gotten some for this that were what it deserved, not necessarily accolades but appreciation for what I'd done. There were a surprising number of higher scores considering the overall score and that satisfies me too. Hey, not everybody likes chocolate ice cream.
