Unfortunately there is some corporate drama at my day job that affects my writing time, so it put my plans for the next story on hold. I'm afraid the new story isn't going to come earlier than June, or so. I apologize to the interested readers, but some things are out of my hand. I'll keep posting any changes on this blog.
To all the readers who commented on The Ghost, thank you for your kind words - I'm glad you enjoyed my story. I'm sure my writing can get better, so if you have any insights in how I can improve please write in the comments.
I'm currently working on the next story, covering Alex's early years and then the years at UCF, where his story intersects that of Patrick. I'm not sure how long it will take to complete the whole story, but I'll probably start publishing the first chapters sometime in the next couple of weeks, depending on how my workload will be - I'm obviously not a full-time writer - so please bear with me.
I plan to have a series of stories interconnected, Patrick's story being the first one. It may seem that "The Ghost" ends somewhat abruptly, but it ends when it intersects with the story of another main character and will be continued in a third story with both of them in focus. I decided not to bunch the stories under an explicit series title, since some of the stories are concurrent others will be sequential. I hope it works out for you, the readers.
I manage to finish editing the rest of the chapters, so I'll post them today.
