Just a quick shout of thanks to all those who have read my work so far. It's basically half-way posted now. I've already had 50 more people vote for this one than Legacy of a Legend, it's matched that score, and it's in more people's libraries.

I appreciate all the feedback I've gotten on it. Hopefully the explanations I gave you on WHY the characters did what they did made sense.

I doubt that this will hit those of you who read this like it did me. But when I was writing this chapter, I actually had to stop for a few minutes because I found myself tearing up. And then not that much later, felt rather triumphant. In any event, I hope everyone likes where it's going.

Is the title of this entry foreshadowing?

I'm REALLY curious as to what people think of the last paragraph of Chapter 14. Please, read the whole Chapter and get to it normally. Then, if you would be so kind, leave me a comment or drop me a quick note.

For some reason, I was a chapter off on what I thought I was posting tonight. So you almost got the wrong chapter. Caught it just in the nick of time.

But this one may have more goofs in it than usual. If so, I apologize.

As always, let me know if you think I've made an error somewhere, even if I do point out how I didn't. This chapter makes it obvious, if it wasn't before, why I decided Sturges wasn't a synth. Oh, and I've the next 5 chapters all back from editing and post editing, so of course, I'll have to look at them and fiddle with them.
