I doubt that this will hit those of you who read this like it did me. But when I was writing this chapter, I actually had to stop for a few minutes because I found myself tearing up. And then not that much later, felt rather triumphant. In any event, I hope everyone likes where it's going.

Is the title of this entry foreshadowing?

I'm REALLY curious as to what people think of the last paragraph of Chapter 14. Please, read the whole Chapter and get to it normally. Then, if you would be so kind, leave me a comment or drop me a quick note.

For some reason, I was a chapter off on what I thought I was posting tonight. So you almost got the wrong chapter. Caught it just in the nick of time.

But this one may have more goofs in it than usual. If so, I apologize.

As always, let me know if you think I've made an error somewhere, even if I do point out how I didn't. This chapter makes it obvious, if it wasn't before, why I decided Sturges wasn't a synth. Oh, and I've the next 5 chapters all back from editing and post editing, so of course, I'll have to look at them and fiddle with them.

I'm going to chalk this one up to a Bethesda issue.

Those of us have played the game know that there are people who are synths that, when they die, don't drop a synth chip. I would literally need to rewrite a LOT of my story based upon something I just found out today. Apparently Sturges is a synth. At least people who have made him a non-essential character (since otherwise you CAN'T kill him) have done so, and he drops a synth chip. Since I've never seen it when I've tried to pickpocket things from him, and you DO see it on some other people that you KNOW are synths - and some who ARE synths don't drop them when they die, I'm going with the "he's not a synth" at all.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Just consider it a 'mod' that I've done, in case you were also like me. Mind you, I've only played completely through the game something like 20 times, I have it modded heavily on my Xbox One, and I use the wiki for a lot of things ... and this is THE first time I ever saw that about Sturges, years after the game came out.

Other than that, hope everyone is still liking what I'm writing!
