I know absolutely JACK about football so I had a friend help me with the football part. I'd give him credit but he has zero desire to be noticed as he considers me writing one of life's great jokes.

Half an hour early, but since I was a little late Sunday it washes out...
For those who are interested I've posted Chapter 7. No spoiler alerts but I hope you like it...
So one of my favorite authors was Cold Creek. His Dman series is what actually prompted me to write and I was quite upset that he never finished the series, for what ever reason. You may see similarities between his Dman series and my stories, as well as Gyounger, Harddaysknight, RLFJ and a couple others. I truly hope to at least be close to their level, but we'll see.
Writing continues and so I'll have more chapters ready to post. I've got a few weeks in the Queue right now for a buffer...
As a new writer I fully expected to be chewed up and spit out by the grammar police and fact checkers, so I was preparing to be thick skinned. Instead, I've heard from some of my favorite authors, gotten great advice, and been motivated to keep going.
All I can say is thanks! It means a lot to me as a new writer...
