I'm going back through and reviewing RUYN, and I can see that SOL is not picking up on my paragraphs consistently. I'm going to be doing some experiments to see what works and what doesn't. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon.
Edit: To be clear, it's not SOL's fault, it's mine. I have a really non-optimal workflow that is wreaking havoc with carriage returns and other formatting. I'm working out a process (as suggested by a very helpful reader, thank you!) that should minimize problems in the future.
Anna wakes up, and John makes sure she's ok.
There's one more chapter to go, and it should be going up sometime in the next day or two. I'm still going back through and fixing typos and tuning up the text. Some of my lovely readers have sent me typos they've found, and I really appreciate it. Thank you!
It's time for Anna to be rewarded properly and John gives her exactly what she wants.
Just a couple more chapters to go...It should be all posted by the end of the weekend.
It's been a long day for John & Anna, but they aren't done yet. John decides to make Anna work hard to win a reward.
Thanks to all those readers who have emailed me this week. It's been great to hear your feedback!
I'm reposting all the chapters of RUYN and adding a new chapter as well. It's all in the queue, so if I didn't mess up the submission too badly, it should all be up soon. Chapters 1-26 still suffered from typos and mistakes, so I've gone through and (hopefully) fixed them as well as change a little phrasing here and there. Nothing substantive, but I think it reads a little better now.
Chapter 27 continues where 26 left off. There are probably 3-4 more chapters to go before I wrap this one up and most of them are written so I'll be posting them this week. Even though RUYN will be done, I don't think it's the end of John and Anna. They have a lot to learn and experience and I have too much fun writing them to stop for good.
And thanks to that loyal reader and editor who wrote to me this week, I tried to email you back but it bounced. Your email got me off my ass to finally get back to this story and finish it up.
I've learned my lesson. Don't start posting a story until it's finished.
