Well, I've finally gotten Chapter 7 out after percolating at the back of my head the past 5 months...
(some spoilers in my thoughts below)
Coming out of Chapter 6, where the trio of best friends had just gone past intimate barriers with each other, I start with a twist for Chapter 7. And I guess we get to an age old question--is it gay to enjoy a circle jerk? I don't think so, and I explore Harry's fascination/curiosity, especially as an orphan who had never had other brothers/cousins/male friends to explore with.
I look forward to exploring further how the dynamics of friendship changes between the three, as they push boundaries between themselves and those around them.

Meanwhile, I'm wondering whether I should start a new non-Harry Potter story. I'm still half-and-half, since it takes so long for me to write new chapters anyway.. We'll see what I end up doing!
Oh man. The last time I wrote on this blog was February, and the last time I posted a story was in January. Lots of things happening in life. I hope I get back to writing soon. Chapter 7 has been perculating at the back of my head the past 5 months, I just haven't gotten to writing it.
And I guess that rules out writing any other story in the meantime.. Or maybe I should do that?

To readers who have reached out, don't worry, the story isn't over yet! I just haven't been able to write the past 2 weeks due to work. Otherwise... Hermione and her two best friends still have a lot of exploring to do.
Cock vs Penis
Honestly, I really do prefer the word penis, but to my readers who have noticed, I've begun using the words cock and dick more. It started first because it was getting monotonous to keep using 'penis', but I think it reflects both my evolution as a writer, and Hermione's evolution as a character.
One reader rightly asked me whether I had been unduly influenced by another comment to use those words. I can honestly say that the comment had brought it to my attention, and pushed me to evolve as a writer. And as the questioning reader had commented, it did indeed show Hermione beginning to see penises as highly sexual things that she wanted.
I'm excited to continue the story!
For the longest time, the story of "Hermione and the Polyjuice Potion" has been germinating in my brain. Whenever I imagined it in my head, it only lasted until what came to be Chap 2, or Hermione's obtaining ingredients from Ron. The story would never get past that point.
It was only until I started writing here in SOL that I got to Chap 3, and now Chap 4, with Chap 5 on the way. Super appreciate all the comments and the platform here. Now I'm finally at the point where I'm wondering about other storylines within this universe, and how to continue the Polyjuice Potion story.

Posted my first story in storiesonline, Chapter 1 of "Hermione and the Polyjuice Potion".. Hope I find people who are into the same things I'm writing!
I don't think I'm the only one who's ever wondered what it was like with the Polyjuice Potion in book 7, and people were turning into Harry, whether male or female. Did the boys compare their sizes? Did the girls wonder about their new appendages? That was the root inspiration for my story, though the story itself did go quite a way from there. I'll probably write something just about that when I have time.
Hope I get into a good writing rhythm here too! :D
