Since they are short, I'm giving two, yes two chapters today.
Sigh. my hands werent listening to me while writing this today.
I hope everyone is back to work and you and your families are hale and whole.

"I think we need to add another medication..."
I THINK I am going to bed for a month.

Sorry about that, I'm not feeling the best this week.
My brain sometimes decides to rebel and there is little i can do aobut it.

First of all, I flew home first class with the company I almost always use; think of a Greek letter.
They tried. They really did. but there was no separation. Each row of seats was filled. If there was only one person per seat, then they used a checkerboard seating.
Yet over 70% of the rows had couples or families which were seated side by side. The distancing in practice was a complete illusion. A COMPLETE illusion.
Starting Monday, masks will be mandatory. Kids under twelve don't wear masks… see where I am going with this?
*Points at the rugrats, "you are all vectors!"
If you plan on flying, the airlines will give water and crackers only. Do not expect more.
And now for what you want to hear.
"I'm home."
Total word count in Florida… 6542 for all the two months I was away. although, I did get a lot of editing and some decent reading in (and slay the Spire was more than conquered).
My Mom has improved greatly from her heart attack, yet my father is sinking ever deeper into worried and unbending old-man mode… *Sigh.
My house has no food. So tomorrow I go grocery shopping. Might need two carts. Blah.
I do have some good ideas for Axeman 2. But haven't started it yet.
Smith's universe 2nd installation was done before I left (it's short and much different than you might expect.), yet chose to release Axeman first. Trials, will be released after that on SoL. Smith's 3rd is a third of the way done when I left for Florida.
I also have 4 other WiPs over 50k words (one in the 90s) and a dozen under 30K. well will just have to see which story the muse's sledgehammer knocks me on to in a couple days when I get settled in. (hopefully, it's a good one and not one of my self-amusement stories that I write for the hell of it. Which will never see the light of day.)
And best yet! There is no TV on in the house whose volume is louder than a 747 preparing to take off.
Take Care,
Shad
Ugh, I twinged my right elbow playing golf.
It makes everything that much harder.
Enjoy,
Shad
