....allowing public comments on fifteen stories as a start, and thus seeing where that leads. I'm hoping for a better result than other sites, but I have my doubts. In any case, I might open the rest up for public comments in time, depending on how people react to the first fifteen, which are the first ones alphabetically on my stories page.
Okay, here it goes. The die is cast. Let's see it rolls.
First of all, let me just state my grave condolences to the families of the victims, and my wishes for a solid and speedy recovery for any wounded victims of this horrific shooting in Las Vegas. I'm truly stunned by the scale of this shooting. No, I'm not going to make this political, either. I am more concerned with the real, human suffering and pain people endure than debating a tired old issue that will never be resolved, anyway.
As for Tom Petty, I am awaiting actual confirmation of his passing, but if he has died of cardiac arrest, it's a real loss to me. I've always been a great fan of his work, even of his cameos in films, but mostly his film-quality videos and awesome lyrics and voice. As a strong supporter of marijuana legalization, I also appreciate his stance there.
As for my stories, I have much more work to do to catch up on several stories, and at least one I think is marching toward its finale. I won't say which one, but you'll see soon enough, I believe. My apologies for the inactive ones, but in at least a few cases, the writer's block was epic for a while on them. At least two of those are heading toward continuation. Also, I rewrote Chapters 2 and 3 of "Sampling Some Italian," with an eye toward a very different conclusion than the one before, hopefully a better one this time.
Thanks again for your patience,
Sev
P.S. I look forward to doing more with Sarah Duncan and her tale, or should I say, "tail"?
More work to go, as I catch up on some stories that I hadn't been inspired to write on for a while. The ending for "Captive Audience" seemed logical enough to me, at any rate, as it transitioned the happy family from land to sea. Any continuations would begin with them on the honeymoon, though it will be far from just the bride and groom, of course. Poor Levi is gonna needs lot of Viagra, isn't he, but he loves the job of seigneur (that's lord in French) of the family and resident chief stud. Speaking of studs, anyone care to guess how many other ladies will get them on their tongues in short order?
As to other stories, well, I'm working on some of my older stuff as we speak, especially a certain one involving a widow and a former Jehovah's Witness.
Another one bites the dust, lol. Seriously, I am making progress toward revising and completing several stories, though I still have more to do. This is far from the end of the saga for the Rosenfeld clan, I can tell you that much. I have more in the works for them, starting with The Diary of Sarah Duncan, a story that will tell things from the youngest Rosenfeld/Duncan girl's perspective as she comes of age and claims a mature, womanly sexuality that belongs to her, that she can own proudly. Not surprising for one of that family, it's a very hedonistic, very lecherous sexuality, and certainly not one bound to monogamous or heterosexual norms. This makes her a unique character, along with her unusual ancestry, as you'll soon discover.
As you can see, lately, I've done a lot with the "Angie's An Adult" serial, and I hope to complete it sooner than I previously expected. However, I should note that the Angie stories have a lot of spin-off potential. There are other stories that I plan to continue and complete, of course, but lately, the Angie saga has much of my attention.
My apologies about taking so long to write much of this, but now the Muse is inspiring me again on that front. Thank you for reading and your patience.....and your feedback, even if I didn't always agree with it.
