"Over the top." "Like a teenage Penthouse letter." "Harem."

Okay, now, listen..if you've ever read the sequels written by FinishTheDamnStory on Literotica (sadly, I don't think that he made it over here to SOL, nor did Damon X for some reason), you'd know, however well-written his work was (and it was very well-written), what "over the top" really is.

I mean, come on, which is more plausible, that the man who would find solace in the arms of his boss and his wife's now rather distraught former friend who realized how crazy Danielle was, or that the main character would sink to Danielle's level, kidnap her and her lover, murder Ramone slowly through privation, and then work at giving Danielle a case of Stockholm Syndrome?

Really? How is my stuff any more "over the top" than that? Again, Finish is a damn good writer and it was well done, but it defies plausibility and requires far more suspension of disbelief to picture such criminal, vigilante justice that puts him on the same moral level as Danielle than to imagine that, after being treated by doctors and nurses (which he should be), he takes the week off, tells the boss lady his sorrows, files criminal charges, seeks a restraining order, and files for divorce? Or that he would tip off the cops that he had just seen Ramone?

One pet peeve of mine, of course, is this tendency in stories to have the cheated husband go celibate for months at a time while his vows are long since broken and breached, absolving him of any obligation to be "faithful" to his cheating spouse, to have him be a fucking martyr in stories and never go for the booty, the pussy long denied him, never discover that perhaps monogamy was a steel trap and he was now well rid of its jaws.

Meanwhile, the wife is having all the fun in the world and it never occurs to the husband that a good bit of ruthlessness can tilt the balance in his own favor? Like tricking her into saying something that can be used against her and land her in jail as she deserves in this case. In other words, why is every husband in these stories not only more patient than Job, but dumb as a ton of bricks?

And you call MY work unrealistic and over the top? Get out of town!

The Final Chapter of My Ex Is Now My Stepmom

I went a bit different direction this time, not all sunshine and orgies, because that's what the inspiration, the Muse, directed me to do, if you will. It fit the character arc and the overall theme full of foreboding mixed with joy and reconciliation.

Apologies if this was in any way a jolt. As Frank noted, though, Bruno died happy. He died something..and someone (Monique, his ex-wife) that he loved.

Rest assured that I fully intend follow-up chapters to explain the continued relationships among the surviving characters, reflections on Bruno's legacy, and the further plots and subplots of the story.

As Kenneth Branagh once noted in Dead Again, "This is all far from over."

....so as to keep it within the site rules. Characters are being aged up in a way that still keeps the spirit of the story. I want Sarah to still be the last virgin in the group, so as to enable the follow-up story, the Diary of Sarah Duncan, to still make some sense when I revise it. She must at least keep her vaginal maidenhead, so as to be the piece de resistance, or there would be less of a big deal about the events of the diary. However, as she is already fourteen, not twelve, there is greater flexibility as to what else she could do, short of vaginal penetration, with others.

Had to repost my "Raising A Kane" story.

Due to the change of aging rules that the webmaster pointed out to me, where apparently all characters must now be at least fourteen, and in order to keep the storyline consistent, I'm making Kane Hale fourteen rather than thirteen. It's a minor nuisance, nothing more. I just wish that the rules were consistently applied and that when you submitted new stories, some note was made for all authors who have been around longer that the rules were changed from what they used to be, so as to avoid such messes in the future.

Also, as you can see, I've been continuing a lot of my stories, including Cassie's Love, which got some inspiration of late. Furthermore, I solved my Allison Mack mess by creating an alternate universe version of her, which in a point of departure gets involved with my protagonist instead of with NXVIUM (allegedly). For the commenter who claimed that she could own me, let me point out that an alternate version of her is not the same as the current version of her, and thus technically not the same person at all, not one hundred percent. Also, if anything, I'm making her future a rosier one that it seems to be in this universe (even if acquitted, her Hollywood career seems over).

The arrest of Allison Mack.

Obviously, this presents difficulties for me with continuing the storyline for "Reno," but I might well re-do it with a different actress. Allison Mack no longer inspires that kind of attraction or interest, at least for now, knowing that she is involved in a dangerous cult that forces people into slavery.

Also, I still plan to continue and complete my other stories, but I have been delayed due to a heavier RL workload of late and recent medical problems that are hopefully being managed at last. I apologize about the delays, but I am far from finished.
