Chapter 12

We really start to learn more about the crystal and how it affects concubines. More to come on those topics in the future. I also turned on voting, so please vote. As the old saying goes, vote early and vote often!

Not much to say about this chapter. Teresa joins the harem and the concubines discuss what it is like to be part of the harem. Enjoy!

Chapters 9-10

With Chapter 10, we effectively come to the end of the original story. The reason for the difference in chapter numbers is that I added a chapter between the original Chapters 4 and 5. That chapter began setting up the much larger importance of the crystal in this story. Moving forward, it won't be all fornication. We will start seeing how the crystal came to our protagonist's life, and what it can do. We will also learn of the responsibilities it brings. Hopefully you will like it. I plan to turn on voting in the near future.

In chapter 7 we begin to see where the green crystal comes from. This is where the basic substance of the story begins to differ from the original. Much of the story going forward will focus on the origin and power of the crystal.

Several people have asked if I am still working on the Grim Reaper series, specifically a third story based on becoming a consultant. The answer is yes, but not for a while. I have several scenes blocked out in my mind. However, certain things will require a few years to develop. Much of the story will take place in the near future, up to about 2028. I need some time to see how various trends work out. While I do not plan to get political, politics can still intrude. For instance, Bo Effner, the Republican District Attorney and godparent to Grim's eldest - does he become a US Attorney or Georgia Attorney General? Not going to happen if Georgia goes Democratic or Trump is out of office! What job does he have then? Do we have another recession (realistically, we are due for one) and what effect will that have on police work, etc. I am going to have to see what happens in the next few years.

For those curious that my name is not rlfj, it's an acronym for "Really Large Fucking Johnson!" Trust me! Would I lie?

For those who asked about my retirement, more interesting is my kid brother, two years younger than me, who spent his entire career at one of the Bell Telephone companies. He started there back in the Seventies when the pension plans were amazing, and he turned down all the offers to cash it in. He finally got an offer too good to refuse and retired at the age of 53. He told our mother (who is 90) he would find something else to do in a few months. It's been eight years now and I doubt he is going to start looking for a job anytime soon.
