I'd like to think everyone who read Split Tails Ranch and commented. I have it finished and will post it shortly. I'd especially like to thank the grammarians for catching the mistakes, the people who corrected me on the Spanish, and the gun enthusiasts who pointed out my errors in weapons. I'm going to take everything to heart, clean it up, and publish it. Once it's all posted here, I'll wait a month for the readers to enjoy, then pull it. Thanks again, especially to the voters and commenters.

You can probably tell by now that I've read everything Louis L'Amour and Zane Grey ever wrote. This is another of the seventy or so old stories that I hadn't finished yet, so I pulled it up, polished a little, and started posting. Rocky Raccoon has taught me not to ever release anything until it's finished, so I made sure it was done before I started posting. I've got two more chapter's of Rocky Raccoon ready, but I won't release them until I'm finished with the series, and I have at least three more chapters to go.

I've been wrestling with a few things for Amazon, especially the finish to the Bloodcost Series. It's the first time in seven years I've experienced writer's block, but Bloocost 5, Blood Loss, should be finished in a month or two. Thanks to all who read, vote if you like, comment if you can.

Let me start by saying thank you to anyone who has read my stories this year. Rocky Raccoon part 2 will be posted by the first of the year. I said at the start it would be slow, but I'm on holiday for the next two weeks, so I may get two chapters done before I have to return to work.

I had to refocus my energies to finish a novella I had been working on. Money Well Spent is my first offering on Patreon, and should be up in a few days. I have two other stories near completion, one for this site, and I'm almost done with the final installment of Bloodcost, it should be on Amazon by the middle of January.

I wish all of you a safe and happy holiday. May you get what you need, even if it's not exactly what you want.

I especially want to think everyone who has commented or reviewed my stories. I'm still going through responses from my plea for help on a projected novel about a God Pill. This is going to be a difficult one to write, so I'm not setting a timeline. It will be done when it's done, because I want to really get it right.

Thanks to the many who have responded to my last request. As one person said, it's giving me a headache. That being said, the insights and suggestions are well thought out, often along venues I never even considered. I'm encouraged enough to proceed, but this will be a very long, demanding project. It will probably take a couple of years, at the very least, to get it readable and accurate.

As many of you suggested, I intended to make the researchers and their families home grown test subjects. I had already determined, but thanks to the one who suggested it, that the facility be located outside the jurisdiction of any large government (like that would slow them any) and very private. I perceive the family to be off the charts intelligent, with many fields of expertise represented. Legal,moral, medical, political, etc., each discipline represented by a recognized leader in their field.

The secret, of course, will be leaked and discovered, and a major part of the book will be the scramble between the super rich, the military, governments and private individuals determined to be the first to exploit and control the product, and the preplanned steps the family has in place to thwart them.

Please, keep responding. I have yet to hear from anyone considering the spiritual side of things. After all, if it makes you healthy, more intelligent, and prolongs life almost twice the length as before, there would have to be ramifications among religious orders. How would the Catholic Church, for instance, view the Pill?

Greetings to all my friends! As you can tell by the title, I've decided to update. I've been writing for a while now, and I'll be retiring soon, so I've decided to quit fooling around and get serious.

I have a Facebook page,facebook.com/leonholdenbuff, so drop me a line if you like. Writing, apparently is like real estate, network, network, network. I'm also investigating Patreon, but haven't made a decision yet. If anyone out there is using it, drop me a line and tell me if it's worth it. If I do decide to do it, how many out there would be interested in supporting me?

My newest book, Bloodcost Four: Black Flag, is being formatted as I write this, and should be out by Friday of next week. I've been moderately successful with the series, so thanks to all who have read it. There will be one more book in this series, and if there's enough interest, I'll be doing some generation two stories, some of which I'll probably post on SOL.

I'm also working on a book of short stories, all brand new, called Five Shorts. I've got three done, and hope to have it out by Christmas, if I have time.
