I apologize, I hastily wrote a Parody, and used a very similar name to a Fictional Story I was about to post. I just noticed that last week I loaded chapter 2 of the Story into the parody.
I have asked Lazlee to remove the misdirected chapter. I have been editing the chapter, with several corrections, and plan to repost it in the correct story within 72 hours.
I have also renamed the Parody to reduce chances of future errors. I also altered the blurb for the Parody based upon several polite, and sincere comments that caused me to reconsider a few lines. My snarky and politically incorrect viewpoint in the parody will continue. However, I don't intend to be offensive, merely to be offensive.
The post apocalyptic story has political aspects, however, I did not intend to blur the two. I encourage readers to consider the different perspectives of the two stories. I will endeavor to avoid miss-posting further chapters.
My Apologies for any confusion I have caused.
I am sorry that I rushed putting up Chapter 2 of Darkness Falls. There were more errors than I anticipated. When I read it I noted several and began making corrections, I had no internet connection for 72+ hours, and intended to post the updated chapter on the evening of January 31st.
However, logging in to SOL, I received feedback on some errors I have corrected on my Word Document, and others I had not. I am going home, will review again, and hope to post the revised chapter 2 by February 3rd.
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
(William Butler Yeats)
Mr. Yeats seems to be talking about the USA in 2020/2021. It is also the opening for my fictional story about how badly things could Fall Apart in the USA. Eventually, we will have to rebuild. My story is about some folks who were preparing solutions for ecological issues, and to a lesser degree social problems in rural regions, when "THE LIGHTS WENT OUT..." Would You be Prepared if the Lights Go Out?
