Please, keep yourselves, your family and your friends safe during the Holidays. ;)
After reading all of Howard's storied for the second or third time, I have developed a profound regret that I will not meet/converse with him in this life - what an amazing man he must have been. *tears*
Howard Faxon > Adopted Family
Howard left us all in 2018 and to my lasting regret I did not know or care until I read this one work of his. Yes, it is a 'Dark Tale' and if you are remotely human, you _will_ shed tears - be warned.
It is fitting (in my mind) that the First Nations will be avenged in posterity by their cousins in China, even as I write this - be warned as China is implacable and well on the way to world domination.
I am torn...
On the one hand having plot twists at the end of story can be frustrating/annoying and reeks of deus ex machina - however, when the essence of the plot is revealed in all its fullness in chapter one, it seriously detracts from me being able/willing to enjoy the whole tale.
I just don't know...
I have long admired this author and been frustrated by their unwillingness to allow communication/feedback - thus this public affirmation of my regard and hope for more...
