Ok, I cracked.

Having had a few comments about how I left Harriet in a very difficult position I have written the start of a short story that will hopefully answer some questions and settle some nerves.

I hope it isn't too rushed. It's going to be a two or three part story, just to plug a gap and move things forward. I'm thinking of other ideas for more.

Comments and messages are welcome. I hope nobody is disappointed with the direction I have chosen for Harriet. The most important thing is that it feels real to me.

Hopefully it won't be long before it is published.

The final chapter of The Witness Program was published earlier this week and I have had mixed responses to the sudden unresolved ending.

I'd always intended to end the story on Harriet's dilemma and as I explained it is her choice to make, not mine, but as the response has been so strong, and I grew fond of Harriet, I have already started to write the next chapter of her life, although I won't say yet what choice she made. I just need to work out where a new story will take her.

I don't know when I will finish or publish it, but I'm still interested in comments on the story so far and ideas on what she might do next

Thank you for the comments I have received about The Witness Program. It's definitely been better received than my other stories.

I have recently posted chapters 5 & 6. The final two will probably appear over the next week.

I've just posted Chapter 4 of my story, The Witness Program. I'm thrilled at the response to it, but also a bit surprised by some of the comments I have received. I hope this chapter makes things a little clearer.

I have finished the story now, but just need to go over the remaining chapters to make sure it's all as I want it.

Once again comments are nice to receive.

I'm quite thrilled by the reaction to my new story "The Witness Program". It seems to have gone down well and already the most successful of my stories. Thank you.

I've got the next few chapters ready, but am still writing the final ones, so I just need to decide the best way to release them. I expect to publish Chapter 3 at the end of this week.
