Through an error on my part, Chapter 3 was posted twice. SOL's editor labeled the second chapter 3 as chapter 4. Then 5, 6, 7, 8. In reality there are only 7 chapters.
My next story is in the Mountain Man series. But there will be a slight change. Because this story, 'The Present', is so short, I've decided to post the whole thing at once.
I plugged a few plot holes in chapter 8. They are in the posting line up now.
My next story is a departure from the Asteroid Hunter and Mountain Man stories. I'm taking a day or two off and will start posting on Friday.
