So when I collected book 1 of The Pool Girl I called it Summer Love, because a) it was accurate and b) I'm awful at titles. Seriously, The Pool Girl is probably least descriptive title I could have probably given the story. However, while fighting a headache off yesterday I had an idea for the collected title of book 2. "Things Fall Apart." It plays off the seasonal theme, It is a literary reference (for Robert) and is descriptive. Is it good? Probably not.

Chapter 43 should post soon. The next chapter will be a short one. I am currently mapping out the rest of "Book 2" which covers basically everything from the start of the school year until Christmas which will be I'm guessing roughly chapter 54. The next three chapters will cover a week in time and after that the chapters will cover wider stretches of time. By that time we will have resolved several of the major conflicts currently in play.

Once "Book 3" starts (I have no good titles for these) it will cover January until graduation. The major conflict that will continue is the cheer/dance competition and it's importance to Grace's career. However, the very end of book 2 will introduce a major complication and new conflicts will arise related to the girls and Robert's lives.

We've still got a ways to go folks.

So, I've been fighting some bug off for over a week now. Still, chapter 42 is done. I didn't get a chance to get it proofed so It may have extra errors but I decided to put it out anyway. I will update it later as I get a chance to have it reviewed. I'm well on with chapter 43 and hope to get work done on it if I have bursts of energy today.

I had to look at family and tell them I was putting in earbuds and ignoring them but the 1st draft is done. I will do a fresh pass over it tomorrow and get it out for proofing.

Chapter 41 of the Pool Girl is nearly done and a new stand-alone not related to the characters of The Pool Girl is being posted. It is a tad on the raunchy side because ... it was fun to write.
