Hello everyone! I have received several inquiries about the cover art for my submission "Spooky Stuff" here on SOL. The folks running SOL were nice enough to put it up for me. So please note that the witch in the artwork is NOT a stylized version of me. First, I'm a blond. And second, her boobs are a LOT bigger than mine! LOL
Hello everyone. I'm certain that you are all following the news updates about the horrific situation in the American Gulf Coast areas with the hurricanes. People are suffering tragic loss of home and possessions. If you plan to donate to a relief organization, please make sure it is a verified and reputable organization. A lot of scammers will try to take advantage of our desire to help out. The funds these bottom dwellers would take from you in the name of "charity" will never go to the people who need help. I have already gotten a few of these calls. One of the things I do is to ask for the tax I.D. number to research if it is an actual relief group. Thus far, all have been scams. I know the rules for blogs say "no donation requests" here. I'm not asking for money. I'm just asking that if you decide to donate to a relief group, make sure that it's legitimate. Please stay safe. - Krista
New story in the works. That line will feature in setting up the plot. I hope everyone is having a great summer!

I would like to wish everyone here in America a Happy Independence Day.
*Sonnet 18*
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to Time thou grow’st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
William Shakespeare
1564 – 1616
