Hello everyone!
Thank you to everyone who has read and voted on chapter 10 since I posted it a few days ago. I've just posted an update to it to correct a continuity error (our heroes leave Tyra on the bed before they leave the bedroom, but when they return, she's in her trunk) and to tidy up the wording in a few areas. The storyline hasn't changed, so there's no need to re-read it to keep up with the story.
Again, thanks for reading my work. Chapter 11 is already underway.

Chapter 9 of "A Life Discovered" is nearly ready for release and will be available online in a few days.
I send huge thanks to @B1084 for taking the time to send extensive comments and suggestions on the chapters published so far. As a result of their work, I'll also publish updated versions of Chapters 1, 2, and 3 simultaneously with Chapter 9. There are no significant plot updates, so you don't need to re-read these earlier chapters to make sense of the later ones, but they should read better now and give you a clearer idea of some of the key concepts. I'll also update Chapters 4 through 8 over time and will republish those once done.

Chapter 8 of "A Life Discovered" has gone into the editing process and should be online here in the next few days. It does contain some back-references, and it will help if you recall the events of Chapter 3 — the one with our heroes visiting the "afterlife". Maybe re-read it if it's been a while? It's one of the shorter chapters.

Hi everyone!
A quick note to say that some kind readers have pointed out some mistakes and unclear elements of "A Life Discovered" chapter 6. I'm not sure how these got through to the final text, but thanks to those who pointed them out. I've (hopefully) fixed the chapter now, and the revised version should be online soon. I'm sorry if the mistakes detracted from your enjoyment reading the chapter. If that was the case, maybe reading it again will help?
