If there is one thing I have learned this chapter it is that I have a lot more to learn.
Plot mistakes made me scrap several thousand words and then, later I had to start the whole chapter over!
Please be gentle, but I truly appreciate all the feedback, scores, and of course I cherish constructive criticism, even when I don't quite understand it. I guess I'm not as clever as I thought?

I want to apologize as I will not be able to update 'Memories' this week.
A reader was kind enough to point out that I've really dropped the ball on a few major plot points. This was done in my rush to match the timeline of 'Shelly's Story' to that of 'Memories'. They were completely correct.
It comes down to a simple truth:
This Rookie Author made Rookie Mistakes!
While I'm here to ask forgiveness for my blunders, I also want to say that I'm so grateful to those that have sent very constructive feedback.
I'll revise Chapter 4 and post the updated chapter as soon as I'm able, though it might not be until next week. (I really don't want to have to come back hat-in-hand again!) Going forward, I'll shoot for a more realistic every-other-week posting schedule.
