Why is it that what you planned yesterday, to do today, has to be re-planned in the first hour of today?

Editors send me the edited version of Chapter 12 at 01:40 local time. Ok, will look at it and post in the morning. Sweetie and Sister-in-law off to work. Dogs fed. Cat fed. Stray Cats outside fed. Now I can get coffee and do what needs to be done.

07:00 Frantic cell call from Sweetie! What's going on on the roads. We're stuck. Look at the "WhatsApp" group. O S#T! TAXI STRIKE. Taxi's blocking ALL roads into the City. Ok, action plan: Get Sweetie to divert via N1 Highway back home. They arrive 40 minutes later. Thank God. So Coffee all round, waiting on news. 09:00 Roads cleared. Sweetie and Sister-In-Law back on their way to work.

NOW. Get the stuff going for Oxtail stew for tonight. (It takes four hours to cook!) Slicing onions and my thumb get in the way of my chef's knife!

OKAY.... All well again, but its now 10:53 and I just posted Chapter 12 for moderation. Might be available at about 17:00 local time. (I am +2 hours GMT. 10:00 by me, 08:00 in London.)

Well, it's Monday. Girls off to work. Eventually! Dogs fed. Cat fed. Stray cats outside fed. Now I find that SOL has posted Chapter 11 during the night and I didn't get a chance to give you a heads up. Sorry.

So, Chapter 12 is in the oven. Little flying with the PC-24. Some detail on preflight and engine start. (Boring!!!)

But hey, in the middle the team goes "Poof", plane and all. You see, after chatting to some of my friends, I found some interesting facts about SA ATC, IFR flight plans and Radar! (This from an ATC Pro. Sju!) You can go …. Drum roll … Thunderclap...Smoke and Poof! So.... Wait and see.

Well Hello All (Even English Literature Professors)

Just a heads up that Chapter 9 of Return to Sender will be available later today.

Thanks again for all the voting and downloads. I believe there is a good number of Readers that like the way the story is going. Sorry about the cliff hanger in Chapter 9, but it seems to be doing the suspense well.

To all the Professors of English literature out there - thanks for your valuable input. Sometime it is necessary to engage in follow on sentences and phrases as stand alone sentences, to drive the thought to the Reader. IT IS CALLED ART. I am not writing a factual, industrial, technical report, but a good on the ear sounding account in plain spoken English, as is the case in my country. Painting a picture with words. My Editors thinks I am doing a good job. So is 11 073 other VALUED Readers. Yes, I do write "Readers" with a capital "R", because that is what they are to me! Valued Readers. (See: I know the difference between "CAPITAL" and "CAPITOL")

Okay - IF you spot a misused word like "Furry" where I meant "Fury", might be a typo or the darn spell checker did not find it, because both are real words. SORRY. I don't speak English everyday. We have 11 official languages in my country - English being one. Also try to follow a Politicians address when he/she pronounces the word "Determine" as "Deeter mine"! (Dieter's Mine) No use of syllables! And I still wonder what Dieter's mine got to do with context of Speech, as I don't know a person called Dieter that has a mine, Gold or Diamond. And then the speech is in Parliament! Boy!

As I said before; I value those of you who just enjoy the story at face value. It is a Fantasy! Not a true story, not a report. BUT the truth about Human Trafficking is real. As is Global Warming.

I try, as far as possible, to answer ALL my mail. If by any chance I do not answer you in a day or two, don't worry! I'll get to you. It takes a while to answer 11 073 mails! Thanks to all of you who has mailed me more than once.
