Well Hello All (Even English Literature Professors)

Just a heads up that Chapter 9 of Return to Sender will be available later today.

Thanks again for all the voting and downloads. I believe there is a good number of Readers that like the way the story is going. Sorry about the cliff hanger in Chapter 9, but it seems to be doing the suspense well.

To all the Professors of English literature out there - thanks for your valuable input. Sometime it is necessary to engage in follow on sentences and phrases as stand alone sentences, to drive the thought to the Reader. IT IS CALLED ART. I am not writing a factual, industrial, technical report, but a good on the ear sounding account in plain spoken English, as is the case in my country. Painting a picture with words. My Editors thinks I am doing a good job. So is 11 073 other VALUED Readers. Yes, I do write "Readers" with a capital "R", because that is what they are to me! Valued Readers. (See: I know the difference between "CAPITAL" and "CAPITOL")

Okay - IF you spot a misused word like "Furry" where I meant "Fury", might be a typo or the darn spell checker did not find it, because both are real words. SORRY. I don't speak English everyday. We have 11 official languages in my country - English being one. Also try to follow a Politicians address when he/she pronounces the word "Determine" as "Deeter mine"! (Dieter's Mine) No use of syllables! And I still wonder what Dieter's mine got to do with context of Speech, as I don't know a person called Dieter that has a mine, Gold or Diamond. And then the speech is in Parliament! Boy!

As I said before; I value those of you who just enjoy the story at face value. It is a Fantasy! Not a true story, not a report. BUT the truth about Human Trafficking is real. As is Global Warming.

I try, as far as possible, to answer ALL my mail. If by any chance I do not answer you in a day or two, don't worry! I'll get to you. It takes a while to answer 11 073 mails! Thanks to all of you who has mailed me more than once.

Tracy and Don now continue. Chapter 6 back from the Editor and will be ready later today for download. I see some Readers have commented on the 'Easter Eggs' in the text of the story. Can't help dropping some Easter Eggs, like the reference to a well known song by a highly acclaimed Songwriter / Singer. I used one of his song lines in the text. Also reference to a Author here on SOL. (He will know if he reads the line.) There is also a reference to a PC Game. I'm having fun writing this story. There's a lot more Easter Eggs to come. Like reference to a well liked Cartoon Character. So, enjoy it and stay safe.

THANK YOU for 12 000 downloads. I never thought this story would have even been downloaded once. This I appreciate, together with your feedback in either Comments or e-mail. AND the Votes! Maybe I should stand for President or something - need a country though!

AS I do not wish to confuse some of the valued readers: I will start using real place names in the story. I did want to just keep it a story happening somewhere. This type of crime is happening EVERYWHERE. In every country. So, as to not confuse: I will be using REAL place names in the future.

As the story now enters a very sensitive stage, the research is much more involving. To keep the story flow I need to balance all the variables in the way of keeping it simple. At least until...

Okay, you know and expect it. Saying no more.

I also found that some of the Readers are very familiar with my native language. To you I say: "Die son skyn. Dis warm. Kom ons braai! Bring die dop en dam! ...en dans op Snotkop se beat."
