In checking out the SOL site, I discovered that 7 of the 18 most popular serial stories the past 30 days were written by me. 5 of them were Harry Lime stories and 2 were Tony Sorrentino stories. In my files, I discovered a story I barely remember writing. It is called "Ground Zero" I had initially classified it as "Fiction" despite its shared genres of Science Fiction and Erotica. It has evolved after 5 chapters into being more Science Fiction than anything else. I have probably written about 40 Science Fiction stories but most of them have not been very popular. Still, after this submission I feel I should change the classification to Science Fiction for more accurate description of the story content.
As I stated in my last blog on this story, I plan to end it at 40 chapters or about 200 pages of content. Just submitted chapter 39 and only one more to go. I started this story in 2015 and continued it because it was so popular. It now has over 141,000 downloads and still counting. thanks to all readers.
I wrote this story about 10 years ago and am surprised it is still drawing about 20 to 30 readers each week. It is now past the 50K download mark and still counting. Reading between the lines, it is actually a story that has basis in reality in twin five story high rises on Valentine Avenue in the Bronx in the 1950s. Although it carries the "much sex" label, it is a story with heavy content in character development in the residents of the building hidden in my memories of my youth.
Just submitted final chapter of "A Bullet in the Fountain" to conclude this novella about the adventures of a Scottish Lesbian, a Jewish Diamond Cutter, and an Italian Mafia female Leader. I would have liked to make it longer but am trying to conclude stories wherever I can to tie up ends at the end of my life on my 83rd birthday. I have about 30 unfinished stories in this penname and will address them all in the upcoming months. Only 4 stories are yellow striped and will do them first. Want to finish book 2 of "A Weed in the Garden" about a disenchanted terrorist and his changing views of western society.
