I have a new story coming out in a couple of weeks. It is a coming of age story... and it is short. I know many of you won't believe I can do something that is under 700+ pages...
Little Tony is pulled into his families business before he is ready. It is a more violent than you are used to seeing from me... but the feedback has been good. I hope you will all enjoy a quick read.
Stupid Boy - Sophomore Year (Book 3) is scheduled for release in early June. It is currently 38 (maybe 39) chapters long. I have completed writing it and the book is now in the hands of my capable editors.
Over 500 of you requested an excerpt from the upcoming book, and I sent out a scene where Wolf calms the team down before a big game. If you missed your chance, shoot me an email this week, and you can get your Stupid Boy fix.

I'm in shock. All I can say is thank you.
Stupid Boy started out as an exercise in writing. I sat down one three day weekend and decided to write something. I had always had a dream to write a story, but knew I needed to practice. So I had an idea for a short story... 140 pages later I had the first six chapters of Stupid Boy.
I had no idea if anyone would like it, so I posted it on SOL. The feedback was positive, but one thing was clear... you can't edit your own stuff. At some point I need to go back and fix Stupid Boy.
I'm in shock this writing exercise has won the following awards:
- Best Author
- Best New Author
- Best by a New Author
- 2nd Place Epic Story
If I ever figure out how to actually write... look out!
Thank you for validating my work.

I'm thinking Cold Creek may have the idea... post a Christmas presents of one chapter a year. With Book 3 being projected for 38 chapters I might be dead by the time we finish.
Before Cold Creek hunts me down, I'm just teasing.
The editors are hard at work on Book 3. Who knew they would enjoy my typos so much... at least they are enjoying themselves.
When I get done I will post a blog message. If you want a sneak peek shoot me an email and I will put you on the list.
Now I am going to go find the island in the tropics where Cold Creek is hiding and relax a little. Maybe he saved me a beer. Thanks for reading and I appreciate the feedback.

I wanted to give a shout out to Cold Creek. I was happy that you provided us with an early present. I also love your posting schedule... I am thinking it might be the way to go.
Some quick updates. I will post on Saturday as usual. Some asked if I would do a mid-week one for the holiday. Too many family commitments to make it happen.
It looks like Book 3 will be about 30 chapters. I have completed 22 of them. The goal had been to release the first chapter right as Book 2 ended. I don't think I am going to be able to make that schedule. Editing needs to do its job... trust me... it is worth the delay.
Everyone be safe and have Happy Holidays.
David is having his 16th birthday soon and someone thinks he needs a car... You, my readers, need to help him decide what to get.
Let's eliminate one car right off the bat... a Mustang. Tracy had one and there are a lot of stories that feature the car.
Let's think about David for a moment. Small town Midwestern boy. He has come into some money, but would not blow it on a car... his Mom would kill him. That tells us no Porsche or other high end cars.
David has mentioned a Jeep...
Midwestern boys love trucks... but he seems to double date a lot... plus have you ever made out in a truck?
Muscle cars would appeal to a young guy. A couple come to mind - Chevy Camaro / Dodge Challenger or Charger
Classic cars like the Pontiac GTO
Another option could be a Van... with a bed in the back ;-)
Let me know what David needs...
Thanks
G Younger
