I am retiring my pen name of many years, Fick Suck, and reverting to my nom de plume I use on ZBooks, Finn Sinclair. One may say that with age, comes maturity; however, I follow the adage that young fools grow up to be old fools. Thank you for continuing to follow and support this old fool. Embassy staff contacted me and suggested I leave the country. I got a flight to Munich and a standby to the States. The gate agent warned me that my name had been flagged by the German government and not to leave the Munich airport. Karma's a bitch. After fourteen uncomfortable hours in the Munich airport with the local police watching me from a distance, I am about to board a plane for New York. Hopefully, the wife will let me back into the house. Helluva way to celebrate an award winning story though.
It only cost $100 US to bail out of jail in Nairobi. FYI: they only accept new, crisp bills. The Germans only have euros; serves them right. My new friend, Robert, from Canberra says I can’t hold my liquor and I throw a punch like a girl. Cocky bastard.
Sorry. I'm in Africa getting drunk with some Aussies and picking fights with over-fed Germans. Back middle of next week.
