Thank you to those who have followed this modest story about the process of mourning and the positive power of progressive God beliefs/non-beliefs. Too many of the good storytellers on SOL will use the death of a loved one as a starting point or a critical turning point, but otherwise not touch the subject. Understandable, but still, their choices are a lost opportunity.
God and sex don't seem to go together in a healthy manner too often either on SOL. The most powerful conversation I remember on the subjects came from a member of the clergy discussing all aspects of sex with his tenth grade students. By the time he was done, they did not want to hear any more information, but they heard him. Instead of ranting, I offered this story.
Next story is back to the fun and perversions of a skewed imagination. Carry on.
My new story is posted on Bookapy: Crooked Trees. This is a short tale edited by BarnyR. The story is a general fiction story, short at 19,000 words and lacking in sweaty sex.
The story includes a positive portrayal of a progressive religious tradition in a realistic style, a perspective sorely lacking among the cliches often offered on SOL. I felt the need to correct the record.
Posting begins tomorrow on SOL.
On Monday, March 7, Dark Energy will conclude with a posting in the morning and a second one in the evening, according to North American time zones. Thank you for your corrections, your encouragement, and your compliments. I will be heading overseas later this week for business/vacation and I do not expect to be able to reply to emails often if at all.
Next story, a short one, begins posting in April.
"Dark Energy" is in the posting queue, a new original tale. Eager readers may purchase the complete story on BOOKAPY.
As the pandemic lament goes, "I'm bored, bored, bored and nothing appeals to me." So, I wrote a new story with a throughgoing plot with more commentary on sex/erotica than than the usual blow by blow.
