Hi everyone
First of all I’d just like to apologise in advance in the small but not completely impossible chance that some of you out there are waiting for the next instalment of my stories - as I’m sure you are completely and totally aware, the holiday season is upon us, and the chaos that it brings has had me away from my desk more and more over the last few weeks. New chapters for both Just Another John and Vicky’s Toe Vixens will be coming shortly - but not until after the holidays.
I’d also like to take this blog post as an opportunity to provide an update on Vicky’s Toe Vixens. I’m going to be reducing the number of chapters from 100 to just 10. There are a couple of reasons for this:
* The original scope of VTV was to bust out 100 short vignettes of lesbian foot action. Literally just pulpy, quick, steamy scenes. Not that VTV has become War & Peace Foot Fetish Edition, but the length of some of the chapters has sprawled to the 2k - 3k range, which is kinda around the length I’d write a stand-alone one-shots anyway. On top of that, I perhaps rather naively underestimated the grip that AI has on amateur writing (not that I am against experimenting with new tools). Both of these factors made me realise that writing extremely short fiction (sub 2k) just isn’t worth it for me. AI can do in seconds what would take me a whole day, and I know much can be said the same for longer writing, but I think you can do a lot more with long pieces of writing than AI can.
* Reason 2 is well, I don’t want the stories to be boring, or too similar. Banging out short foot fetish tale one after another is making me realise the limited scope of my chosen medium! Arguably, this is also something else I should have foreseen, but hindsight is 20/20, eh?
So, I’m going to reduce the original scope of 100 VTV shorts down to 10. Originally, we were going to pick the best 10 characters of the original 100 to return for a special “one off” orgy, but instead I’ll just cap the 10 off with a special, exxxtra nasty chapter featuring all 11 characters (if you also count our titular vixen) in the series so far. It’s gonna be a filthy one!
I do have a large majority of the original 100 characters mapped out in regards to names and physical appearances, so there’s plenty of opportunities for a VTV vol 2, 3 or 4 should I ever want to return to the series. It’s just that right now, I have so many different story ideas I want to get down and for the above reasons VTV is hoovering up all of that writing real estate - variety is the spice of life, after all.
The good news is that I’ll be bringing some new stories and scenarios instead. So - Happy holidays all.
