I'm currently working with site moderators to fix the formatting problems. In the meanwhile though, below are a pair of links to the .doc versions of both chapters.

I 'think' I figured out what was causing the spacing and italics problems with these two chapters, and have made the changes that should hopefully fix them.
They should show up on the site in a day or two.
The last 3 chapters of the story have been submitted for posting. I gave them an editing pass, but it's possible I may have missed some errors... especially in the Spanish (both standard and Mexican) chunks. If you're a reader who knows either (particularly Mexican!) and want to give the sections of chapters with them a look over for errors I'd really appreciate it. In most instances, I've included my intended English directly after those lines.
Chapter 56 (submitted for posting a few minutes ago) is the last chapter I have ready to go. The final chapter or two (I'm not sure how long this scene will end up being currently) may take a little while to finish - I'm hoping no longer than a few more days, but it's proving to be more tricky to get right than I first expected. It should be worth the wait though.
All current chapters (up to 52 at the moment of this post) will receieve a re-upload based on the second editing pass currently in process. I've heard back from one of the three volunteers assisting me in this task and integrated the appropriate changes to my master document. When I receive the drafts from the other two, I'll do the same, then prepare the files for re-uploading.
In the meanwhile, chapter 53 will be live soon.
