I began writing erotica some time ago, but only for my own consumption. I think it may be beneficial if I describe here, briefly, what I am about in my writing.
Subject Matter
I tend towards subjects in which there is a juxtaposition of the sexual and the non-sexual: public sex, nudism, school settings, improbably-endowed youths, even incest. Much of my early exposure to erotica was Harry-Potter-themed, so I will likely write a good deal of that. I am not very original.
Because I write mainly for myself, there are some things I will either likely or certainly not include.
1. Gay contact that goes beyond masturbation and oral sex, or gay romance. This preference is one of the artifacts of my youth.
2. BDSM of any sort.
3. Rape, coercion, etc., though I feel differently about love potions and the like.
4. Scatology and water play.
Writing Style
My writing style will be off-putting to some people. It is a rather fifties-Britain combination of dry and conversational. (The first chapter of *Spells of Lust* should show what I mean.) It is what I am accustomed to reading, and it is also the only way that I know how to write.
I will say in my defense that I loosen up when I am talking about sex or wish to convey a mood of arousal. In those situations, a penis is a cock and so on. I can't think of a situation in which I would be more vulgar than that. You will never catch me writing about a "cunt" or a "fuckstick" or anything of that sort.
Inspirations
As I said, I am not very original. My stories, especially my earliest ones, will draw a good deal on erotica I have read. I especially loved, in no particular order, the following stories.
* Naked in School, particularly Caultron's Adam and Vivian series.
* Avatrek's "Harry Potter and the Spellbook of Desires," which I am shamelessly aping with my "Spells of Lust" series.
* Fertile Valley
* Heatheranne's Ron: Just a Growing Boy
* The Perks of Being a Wallflower with a Huge Cock
