Thanks, and an Update

Posted at Updated:

I just saw that my story, Special Needs, took 2nd place for Short Erotic Story of the Year 2017 in the Clitorides Awards. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for the story! I'm rather proud of how it came together, and I'm humbled that enough readers thought it was worth rewarding it. Many, many thanks!

In case anyone also follows

(or that of other authors) on ASSTR, the ability to upload anything via FTP there has been broken since April 25, 2018. No one on ASSTR is currently able to make edits, add new chapters, or update their sites. We've heard nothing from ASSTR admins, so we have no idea when/if this will be fixed. It's not the first time the FTP access has broken, and the last time it took a week or two before the admins even bothered to notice. I can do nothing to let my readers there know what is going on, so I just wanted to let anyone following me here on SOL know the deal.

Thanks again!

What the Night Whispers - Conclusion on September 17

Posted at

I've gotten a lot of feedback from readers of What the Night Whispers who are eager to get to the conclusion of the (relatively short) series. So, I'll post the final two chapters, #12 & #13, together on September 17, 2015.

I may follow up at some point with a sequel or other stories in this same universe, but nothing is on my immediate radar. If you've read the series, I hope you've enjoyed it. This is a first attempt at something paranormal, so I wasn't sure exactly how it might go (though I do have one magic/fantasy story on ASSTR called My Jewish Princess, but I cannot post it here due to the age of the lead female).

Thanks for reading, and again, I hope you enjoy the final two chapters! --Chase

Thanks Re: Aging Young Characters

Thanks for all the great feedback I had on my blog post asking about aging characters in existing stories on other sites to make them meet SOL minimum age requirements. Almost everyone who responded thought it was worth doing and I have decided I will (it is only one character that is underage and it should have no effect at all on the story).

I've already "converted" the first 5 chapters of the series Run (there are currently 38 published on ASSTR), and I'll try to keep one chapter a day going out until it is caught up. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks again -- Chase

Aging Young Characters

As I've stated in other posts, I cannot post a lot of my existing series here on SOL due to age restrictions: many of my lead female characters start out 12 or 13. One of my series, Run, has only one such below-age character (a 12-year old boy). In Run, the age of the boy is not really that critical to his part of the story, and along with his older brother (14) and sister (15), I've been thinking of 'aging' him to start at 14 in order to be able to post the story here on SOL. I won't change the original story as it appears on ASSTR, but the version for SOL would have slightly-older characters.

Does anyone have thoughts on this? I know how to do it. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this sort of thing before to existing stories (possibly those hosted elsewhere) and if it is worth the effort.

I really love the Run story and I think some readers would enjoy it here, as well. It is full of action and intrigue, as well as a ton of sex, including first times, anal, incest, creampies, etc. The only thing keeping me from adding it to SOL is the age of one character. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Tender Box and Diary of a Loose Girl

Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me to SOL! I had no idea there was such a robust and thoughtful community of story writers and readers. I don't know what took me so long to join up.

Anyway, at the suggestion of a few people who reached out to me, I've started posting two of my existing series (previously posted on my ASSTR site) one chapter a day. I had added Semper Fi all in one go, which several commenters suggested made it harder for the story to be found by more readers.

So, I have queued up all existing chapters of Tender Box (12 total) and Diary of a Loose Girl (27 total) to go out once per day until caught up. I hope this works for those of you who have enjoyed the first few chapters. You can always go to my ASSTR site to get all of what is available if you cannot wait, but I don't want to show up here on SOL and try to send people over to a competitor's site. I will, however, describe a few other series that are on ASSTR which I cannot post here (I hope this acceptable, I have had several readers reach out to me wanting more information about the series I can't put up on SOL).

I do wish I could post all the series I have up on ASSTR which include characters below the age restriction of SOL. I think a lot of you would enjoy:

* Shipwrecked, a romantic survival story of a man who finds himself washed up on a Pacific Island with a budding twelve-year old girl. There are currently 123 chapters (~430,000 words) published with more planned.

* Flower Petals, a tale of hebephilia and romantic incest and moral concerns. Currently 60 chapters (~200,000 words).

* Run, an incest-action-thriller about a family forced to flee around the world to avoid being killed by a terrorist organization. There are 37 chapters (~188,000 words).

Anyway, thanks again for welcoming me and I hope I can learn more about all the great stories and authors here. I haven't yet had a chance to start digging in and reading here, but I certainly will. I'm loving the ease with which I can bookmark and browse the site, it really is fantastic how much thought has gone into the UI and the needs of both authors and readers. -- Chase
