I just published Chapter 28 in the series Diary of a Loose Girl. Hard to believe it's been over three years since the last one. My apologies to readers who have waited so long and (likely) decided it had been abandoned. I love telling the story of Carrie but it just sort of got lost in my long list of priorities over that time. I made a determined effort to revive things this week, and I expect to make much more regular updates to the story over the coming weeks and months. Again, apologies for letting this go so long without being updated.
As of July 5, 2018, the ASSTR author FTP has been available again for uploads/edits, and I've managed to add all the queued stories/chapters I had written over the two-plus months of downtime. My site on ASSTR is: Chase Shivers Tales.
Now that that is finally caught up, I'll start writing again as soon as I have time (still rather busy in RL,) including new chapters of Ahead of the Curve which I know several readers are clamoring to get their hands on. Thanks for the patience and for reading my work!
Just a quick update to let everyone know I'm running behind on getting the next chapter of Ahead of the Curve published. I'm in the middle of a very hectic period. Just know that I haven't forgotten you!
Well, it surely took me long enough to finally finish the story Run, but the last chapter has been published here on SOL as of May 30, 2018. It was a mad race for the characters and I hope I caught some readers' attentions along the way. Sure, parts of it were silly and over-the-top, but that was something of the point, really.
I've set it up for a sequel which I hope to start writing sometime in 2019. Not all threads in the story are wrapped up yet and I have a lot more to tell in these characters' lives. As always, I welcome your feedback and hope you enjoyed the time you spent reading this story. All my best -- Chase
It's been over two years since I last added a chapter of my series Run here on SOL. The reason for that is that the original version of the story featured one character who was under the minimum age limit for SOL, and I had to "age" that character (Logan) along with his brother and sister (Finch, Lauren) in order to make it publishable here. It's a pain in the butt, but since ASSTR (where I publish all my stories, including the original version of Run) has been broken for author uploads, I've got some time now to work on this process again.
I finished Run earlier this year on ASSTR, now I'm going to be rapidly publishing the chapters here on SOL after aging the siblings.
Sorry for the long delay. I hope those who started the series here will enjoy the conclusion. It ran to 55 main chapters plus an Epilogue/Author's reflection. Look forward to those to start showing up here on SOL shortly.
