I've submitted chapter 2 of Survivors for posting, so it should be on the site shortly. I have also reposted chapter 1 with some corrections and to clarify the lack of extensive descriptions of car wreckage and mayhem....
The short answer is that the event occurred around midnight and the characters are currently in a mostly residential area that would not have extensive traffic to result in massive wreckage for Jack and company to navigate through.
Thanks for reading,
-Charlie
Whoever was so kind to nominate A New Past for the Clitorides Awards, thank you. It's nice to be recognized for the work that went into my first story posted here.
As I mentioned in my last post, I have gone back and clean up all 40 chapters for errors spotted by readers and will begin reposting them soon. The plot has not changed, but it should be a little better read.
Sincerely,
-Charlie
Thanks to all the readers who have continued to provide feedback and encouragement. It is greatly appreciated.
I just thought I would post a quick note wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving this week (even if you don't live in the U.S. of A.), and to let you know I've finished a new story that I should begin posting in the next week or so.
I've also cleaned up a bunch of grammatical errors in "A New Past" and will repost those chapters once I have a little free time. Who knows, I might even decide to extend that story.
Thanks for reading,
-Charlie Foxtrot
Thank to to all the readers who have taken the time to vote or send me feedback. I read everything sent my way, even if I don't have time to respond individually.
With all of the positive encouragement, I've cleaned up an older tale from my archive and posted here for your enjoyment. It should be up soon.
If this new story "Bàs no Beatha" gets a similar, positive response, I'll share a few more tales from that culture.
Thanks for reading,
-Charlie Foxtrot
I've submitted the final three chapters of "A New Past" for posting and they should be up soon.
I know many readers will want the tale to continue, but I'm ready to put Paul and company on the shelf for a while and look at new stories to tell. I've got a few in mind.
Thanks again for all the encouragement and support.
Thanks for reading,
-Charlie
