... a sentiment I'm sure we could all use a reminder of occasionally.
Chapter One is up. People seem to be liking it so far, which is always nice :) For my part, I'm having fun writing something novella-length instead of my usual flash fiction. It's slow-burn for sure (I warned you it would be) and there's not really any explicit sex so far, but there's plenty of room for that in later chapters, don't worry. Chapter Two is shaping up to be a little spicier.
In terms of release pacing, I'm looking at five or six chapters (and/or maybe an epilogue) and I hope to have it done by the end of the year. I've got some time off from my day job coming up that means I might be able to focus on writing for a bit, so we'll see how far that gets me.
As always, thanks for reading!

Well, I can't say that I've posted everything out of my backlog, but I think most of what was ready or nearly ready has now gone up on the site over the last week or so.
Several of you noted that most of what I posted was fairly short. Most of it comes from a time period where I was leaning into flash fiction (or "nanoporn", as I referred to it back then), intentionally keeping everything under 5KB. It was an exercise in seeing how much story I could tell in a very limited space, which was both fascinating, frustrating, and a good learning experience.
I did an editing pass on everything as I reformatted for uploading, tweaking a phrase here and adding or removing a sentence there. After posting Coffee and realizing just how short it actually was, I also started adding more material and expanding some pieces of the other stories as well. Still, I wanted to get the old stuff up pretty quickly, so I didn't spend too much time on them. And if all I've done is leave you wanting more, then I suppose I'm doing my job ;)
Abduction of Amy was one of the few medium-sized pieces I had kicking around. It's still under 10k words, even after rewrites and additions, so it's not exactly long, but it's got much more explicit sex than anything else I've posted so far. It's also the darkest piece I've ever written; I don't write either CNC stuff or psychological terror very often, but I really enjoyed showing you the inside of Amy's head on this one. Of course, Amy is a big swing from Radio Show, which, let's face it, is downright sappy. Apologies for the whiplash.
Looking ahead, I think you can safely expect to see more character-driven stuff in the "Some" to "Much" range, and a not-infrequent use of the "Slow" tag. One of the old pieces I dusted off is turning into something that feels more like a serial, and I'm hoping to polish off the first chapter (and pick a title) over the next week or so.
As a final note, thanks to everyone who dropped me a DM or a review(!) over the past week. I really appreciate the positive feedback, and it's nice to feel welcomed back after all those years!
Dang. Imagine my surprise to discover that the site I posted those stories to over 20 years ago is still kicking around, and still has the (somewhat cringe?) stuff I wrote back then!
Anyway, "hello" to the small handful of you that follow this account. Hope you enjoyed Spring Carnival and Desire. Now that I've recovered this pen name, I'm planning to post some stuff that I've written since then... and maybe that'll encourage me to write some new stuff too.
