In this chapter we see another side of Ben, typical of classic heroes in mythology and history. They are often just like ordinary souls, but in some circumstances they can be as absolutely violent as needed. You don't want to piss them off!

In this one, Ben enjoys a wakeup call and Dardenys and Kelly call a truce. The team finally gets to the root of the problem. Not to spoil anything but in this chapter we discover what the Valkyrie Eir did to earn her right to the top of the list (see "A Favor Owed").

Ben gets some good news, gets an interesting kiss, and then sets out to convert a new enemy into a friend. This one was fun to write and it's more about the complicated relationships that become the norm when it's one man with many, very strong and very loving women. What happens when a former enemy gets thrown into the mix?
