Chapter 22 plus the epilogue of Los Cuatro will get posted tomorrow. That will bring the story to its conclusion.
I wrote earlier that my stories are AI-enhanced (and I've coded them appropriately). That's the truth. However, Los Cuatro is perhaps a little less AI-influenced than the others. There's a lot in that story that I relate to personally, and large segments of it are entirely my own writing. For that reason, it's a special story for me.
I plan to post the first two chapters of the next story - The Way North - the day after. I'll post a new chapter every other day. This story's a little shorter - 12 chapters total.
Starting tomorrow, I plan to speed up the posting of Los Cuatro. There will be a new chapter going up every day (instead of every other day). The final chapter (and epilogue) will be posted on 10/31.
I'll be traveling during early November, so I want to get the next story queued up before I go. The title of that story is "The Way North". Without giving too much away, it's a historical romance involving time travel to the past.
After "The Way North", as of now my plans are to follow with Book 2 in the Zora's Aurora series, although that could change.
I uploaded the remaining five chapters of Leaving Francistown. The entire story is now up on the site.
I also posted the first chapter of a new story today. The story is titled Los Cuatro ("The Four"). Spanish title, yes, but the story is written in English. I plan to post new chapters every other day. As with my previous stories, I've fully written this one at this point, and it's AI-assisted.
Los Cuatro is a tale of four people (an American man and three Mexican-American women) who are abducted by Mexican cartel members from a park in Brownsville, Texas, near the Rio Grande.
The next chapter of Leaving Francistown will go up tomorrow. After that, I plan to speed up the posting process. There will be a new chapter posted every other day. That means the last chapter of the story will go up on 10/5, wrapping that one up.
After that, I've got another story ready to go. I still haven't settled on a title, but it's another inter-cultural romance in the same vein as Leaving Francistown. It's in a very different environment though, and it leans a little more into the thriller category.
Looking further down the road, I have a couple more stories that are close to complete. I might also opt to follow that as-yet-unnamed story with the second book in the Zora's Aurora series (which is partly written at this point).
A general comment... I think I may have erred by posting the first Zora's Aurora story (Glory's Shadow) all at once, rather than chapter by chapter. It has far fewer downloads and votes than my other two stories. (Yes, that's a plug for you to go and check it out.)
With the posting of "Leaving Francistown" underway, I've decided to post another story in its entirety. This one is a little different from the first two stories I've posted, and it's also somewhat shorter. It's a sci-fi detective/mystery story set in the early 23rd century. There are two female protagonists who, besides being PI's, are also musicians. Like the other two stories, it's a no-sex story with AI assistance, although this one has somewhat less help from AI than the others.
I'll post the story (8 chapters) later today. My intent is for it to be the first book in a series with the same characters, in the same universe. The universe will be called Zora's Aurora, and the first book is titled Glory's Shadow.
A few days from now, I plan to post a short summary (just a few pages) of the universe I've created for these stories. It won't be necessary to have read this summary before reading ZA - Glory's Shadow.
