I've always known how the story ended; the will to put that to paper, so to speak, has just been gone for a while. It's been creeping back for a while, and it seems the time has come. I'm prepping now to do a full rewrite and repost. Some things will change, some will stay the same; hopefully it will be a better, tighter, more consistent story.
And for those of you who have reached over the years with encouraging words, my sincerest thanks. I do appreciate it.
