I pulled two of this once prolific authors works from another site. That site hasn't been active since October 2017 and I wonder how much longer it will function. I always liked her style. Pretty sure she is female. Read her stuff and see what you think. If you want to see the rest of her work you will need to email me for the site, if you already haven't figured it out. She hasn't posted anything since 2013 and the email on her page is inactive.
Thank you for the nice feedback I have received. I apologize for the mistakes I now see in the posted chapter. Bear with me. I will come back and correct when I finish. The site boss guy lets you do that. I am excited about the finish of this tale. I think it will have the even the most jaded of you reflect. Again someone sees something I am missing or is enjoying this as mush as I am let me know.
The original idea came to me after touring the summer "cottages" on Jekyll Island, GA of the super rich of the 19th century. The tour guide opened a secret panel in one of the bedrooms to reveal a small elevator. She said the man of the house would bring his mistresses to his room this way.
I had that movie still picture of a topless, teen-aged Sophia Loren portraying a Roman slave girl in mind as I attempted to describe Leah.
For the story does anyone have an idea of what in 1950s dollars might be a irresistible temptation for a suburban housewife to come to the city and work at the men's club for a few hours? I have in mind a January Jones type from the Mad Men series.
I am aware of the many grammar errors. Why is it, I self proof a work several times before posting and then look at it on the site and immediately see problems.
I need an old school, non PC, proof person. Please copy and paste the text off the site, make corrections and send to thomhobsATgmail.com. Grammar and punctuation errors seen and marked appreciated. I also enjoy a good debate on character motivation.
