Going better this week.

I have managed to get the first three chapter in can as it is said. Four is in edit and five is being left to simmer for a week or two. I have start on six, but time is forever my enemy for writing. I figure once I have eight locked down, I will start posting them here and there.
Be safe and take care out there.

Progress is being made.

Working on Chapter five now. Each chapter is running about 10k words now. So it is taking longer and allows for greater detail and fill.

Yea Gads!

I just updated to the modern form of Word. It took one look at the ancient doc files and wanted to change them all and upload them to the cloud. Up dating I can take, the cloud? Not a chance. I will get the hang of it on the PC. The tablet is another story entirely.

How a story sometimes breaks loose.

Last night as I was sandblasting parts, a bit of what I wrote at the beginning of the series came back and smacked me in the back of the head. It set me off in several tangents that fit the current mess all the characters are facing and what is coming when to much snow falls and a sudden hot, wet, thaw begins.
It set the stage for the ending, I played the entire final sequence out in my head last night, and now I just have to get everybody to the right place at the right time. I have been gathering names, places and things, and making many notes. I have a week off coming up,so maybe I will make progress.

In other news, I have been reworking Remembrance of the wood to make in much more readable. It is main grammar and punctuation. I have also been adding missing details.

I also began a slight rework and expansion of A Farmer I am Not. Andrew had quite a view of Aco and company the year prior to his leaving, that had to be in there somewhere in his life.
Well, back to work. Waiting for parts to run so I can clean them up. Have a good one and stay safe folks.

Mental wall....but.

I have been getting stuck on the current chapter I am working on. Sooooo, I opened the final post files for Remembrance of the Wood and felt pain trying to read them. I started a serious edit. The chapters are gaining filler to add in detail and points that needed to be made but weren't. We shall see how that turns out.
