For those of you who've been asking, I'm still alive and still writing. This has just been one hell of a year. Most of the people whose stories you love reading, don't write for a living. I've gotten fifty letters this week from people asking why I haven't put anything out in a while. Most of them do it nicely, but they're suggesting that since we're going through this pandemic and we're all out of work, I should be writing more.
I'm taking it as a compliment. I'm reading it as meaning that since we're in that pandemic, they'd like something to read.
Many of you will remember that a few years ago, I left the Engineering field and went medical. That means that I'm doing literally twice as many exams as before the virus. I'm working so many hours it's crazy. On the surface, for reasonably healthy people, it seems as if we're cresting the hill and seeing the other side of the virus.
I'm still seeing people dying every week. And every one of them hurts. Some of you remember that my sweetie has a few underlying health concerns, so you'll understand that I'm afraid to go home every night. I take a shower at the hospital, change clothes and shower again when I get home. Every time I kiss her, I'm afraid of giving her this virus.
So, I think you guys get the idea now of why I haven't put anything out. I swear there will be a story soon. I'm working on a couple of them now.
Number two. How many of you remember the story All about Nathan?
It was an experiment. I was looking for a contest-like feel. The idea was that I'd leave clues to the next location and you guys would send in your guesses etc.
I got so few replies and guesses (less than 500) that I thought we were done with it. The experiment had failed.
But lately I'm getting a ridiculous number of people asking when I'm gonna finish it. I have been. I abandoned the clue format and have slipped pieces of it inside of two other stories. "Alone in a Room" and "All about Annie," have pieces of Nathan in them. I'll try to finish it off in the next one.
The last one ... For those of you who read the nuns stories, this is a sad one. At the end of Torture, the Sisters' base of operations was moved to the Felician Sisters complex in Michigan. Since the virus started, 13 real world Sisters have passed die to the virus or its complications. If you believe in prayer, pray for them. If you don't ... wish them well anyway.
Stay safe and whether you believe in them or not, wear a mask when you're in public. Don't do it for yourself. Do it for the people you care about. New story coming soon. I promise.

Hi Folks,
Tomorrow the new story will be out. It's a Sisters of Fate story, with some new characters, some old ones, some SOF history, a new mission, the answers to a bunch of questions that I've been getting. I hope all of the SOF fans like it.
This brings me to a problem. I need a book cover. I am terrible at it. I've tried several of the services on the net and haven't seen anything I like yet. So I'm throwing it out there to you guys. Anyone who does graphic designs can email me for details.
Happy Halloween folks. C' ya tomorrow. SS06
