I've posted another chapter to Hatchery Road, mostly because I'm making good progress on finishing the story and I wanted to accelerate the posting schedule a bit. The fact that today is National French Fry Day is just a bonus. :)
In view of the present US holiday and the encouraging feedback, I thought I'd drop in a bonus chapter to Hatchery Road. Enjoy and stay safe out there!
The first two chapters of my newest story, Hatchery Road, along with a "soundtrack" in the Introduction slot, are now posted. Nearly all of this story is written and the plan is to post a chapter a week. For those interested, a few characters from Perhaps Love will also be making the occasional appearance.
Thought I would make a return with a story I originally wrote for the Finestories site, which should explain the PG nature of the story. It's a romantic yarn of the variety found in movies on the Hallmark channel - so be warned. :)
Today, with the posting of chapter 6, David Hendricks' initial story comes to an end. There are others percolating and will eventually make their way here.
For now, though, I just want to say thanks to all who read and all who voted - especially those who've changed their votes higher as we went along.
Also, a hearty "Thank You!" to all those who dropped me a line. I really do appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to discuss in more detail what I wrote.
Lastly, may you and yours have a Happy Thanksgiving!
