Thank you to a couple of readers who kindly told me that I'd confused my protons and my neutrons, but didn't call me the blithering idiot I clearly am. I would blame the demon drink, but for the fact that I was stone cold sober when I wrote that bit. Huge embarrassment. I asked Julie to whip me with birch twigs to help me purge my mistake, but she reckoned that it would be no punishment, not with all the kissing better afterwards.......

It's been three and a half months since I last posted a chapter for my story - I'm ashamed of myself for not forcing the words to come, but with all the distractions of building works and having to earn a crust, they just wouldn't get down on the page. Today I FINALLY completed Chapter 75.
Hopefully I'll finish this one with regular posting, but I'll make sure that the next one is more fully written before I start posting. I can't believe that it's two and a half years since I started putting this one up!

I finally had to give in and 'update' my software as the versions I had became unsupported. Ye Gods! WHAT a can of worms that has opened! Sorry to everyone who is strugging with my missing quotation marks, apostrophes and the strange symbols suddenly appearing in the text. I'll try and repost the affected chapters if I can sort out the problem........

Apologies for taking so long to post this chapter; as often happens, real life has got in the way. I'll try to get back to my usual frequency.....

As my story is set in the capital of Wales, today seems an appropriate one to post four chapters at once. I'm catching up, thank you to all of you who have followed me patiently for the six months I have been writing this story!
