I realized, belatedly, that I dropped a key potential plot twist from my story line as I read through it this week. I had to decide where it needed to appear if I indeed wanted to keep.

Those answers were, right here, in Chapter 36, and hell yeah, I wanted to keep it. So all of a sudden Chapter 36 is about three times longer than it was. Be sure you re-read it.

It wound up being 60 chapters and something like 180,000 words, but The Pact is now a completed story that I am slowly re-reading, editing and positing in chunks. First, I have edited and reposted all previous chapters. Look forward to your feedback.

Writing another story overrode this one for over a year. Then I had to figure out how to escape a corner I'd written myself into. Then I had to reacquaint myself with the characters. But I am rolling towards an actual conclusion to this story. As I write this in late February of 2016(!), I am on chapter 46 and I know how it's going to end. I just have to get there. When I do, I will reload the entire story. Hope it's worth the wait, and I thank the fans who went to the trouble of writing me this long after the fact to say they were hoping I would return to this story. THANKS to you!

The real world has gotten in the way, and The Pact went on an unexpected hiatus. THere is a full chapter waiting to be posted, part of another, later, chapter almost finished and the main part of the story -- the PACT itself -- is partially done. If you go back and re-read, then we might have new content by the time you finish!

Sometime in 2013, I will have another long story. Won't likely be a long as LIMITS, but I am finding new directions to take the many core characters. It be called THE PACT and the best description I can give it is Master PC meets Bunheads. I was shocked to hear from JR Parz and find that he has not had updates to the Master PC universe in over a year; I cannot believe people wouldn't be submitting stories to the Master PC universe on a regular basis. I strongly recommend you find his (free) site with his stories and the Master PC universe.
