I received a SOL Mail note the other day, and promptly lost it - in more ways than one. I don't even remember the sender's name. He/she wondered where all my previous blog posts had gone. SOL removes them after (I think) two years, and it's been more than that for me. For that, I apologize.
About two years ago I suffered a mild stroke, which affected my right hand. Since then, I've been trying to learn how to write left-handed, and type with only one hand. Suffice to say that it's not going well.
I miss writing.
At present, I'm working on configuring a voice-to-text program that was given to me, but it's a long and slow process. And you thought my previous stories were bad for typos . . . !
In the meantime, I've been reading a lot of stories on this site (looking for inspiration, I guess) and going back through some of my own. If I can ever get the voice-to-text thing to work, I'd like to upgrade Kanata Summer, something I wrote several years back, but which gets a fair number of downloads still. If that's successful, my Muse has a couple of ideas that she keeps shoving into my head.
I'd really like to thank all my readers for their interest in my attempts. I'd also like to thank the many authors that I've read and followed over the ensuing years. Your efforts have buoyed up my spirits during some really dark days.
