I have had several of you asking if my wife would be willing to collaborate to write a story with me after reading chapter 10. She is more than willing to do so, but we cannot seem to agree about what. We've discussed writing out the back stories to Rain and Eric or writing a story that will cross over into Rain and Eric's world. Send us some feedback and let us know what you think, or if you have any different ideas, jot em down and send em along! We're open to suggestions!

For all the vets out there, I am a former Marine, stationed in Twentynine Palms, CA. I actually served between the Iraq wars and did not see combat. I do, however, have many friends dealing with the issues portrayed in this story. For all you guys that have e-mailed me and given me support, I especially salute you...those who have gone through this. I hope it isn't too uncomfortable for you. If you have the courage to speak about it, I would love your insight.
Also, I have to say thank you to my wonderful wife who is the best editor, supporter, and idea repository I could ever ask for.

Thank you for those that have already read Rain. Please drop me a line with any pointers or suggestions, I'm open to both. Writing this story has been a labor of love.
Just to let you all know, I may post rather sporadically. I will aim for at LEAST one chapter every 2-3 weeks, depending on the real world. Considering that this coming week is Thanksgiving, I may actually be able to crank out some chapters.
Thanks to my beautiful wife for her inspiration and editing skills. Thanks to the real Rain (her name inspired the story) for her suggestions and willingness to read my musings. I hope you all enjoy the show....
