Alright, I need to start updating this bloody thing more often.

Anyways, a chapter for Chimerical Ascension is in queue.

As this implies, yes, I'm still writing. I've just been inundated with Rabid Plot Bunnies for the past while. I'm hoping I'm past them and can focus on my current stories. However, I expect new ambushes frequently.

Alright, for the last few weeks, my Muse has been held hostage by a Rogue Plot Bunny (don't worry, I'm not planning on adding another story to my active list). It appears that the bunny is sated by my limited work on it and is allowing my Muse to return to the other stories I'm supposed to be working on.

As such, I'm currently working on Chimerical Ascension. I doubt I'll have anything ready for Sunday, but I will, hopefully, be able to have a chapter ready for next week.

Yes, I'm planning on Sunday still being my normal publishing day but well... today's a holiday and Sunday I expect to be insanely busy with family affairs. Therefore, you get to enjoy a new chapter for Chimerical Ascension a few days early. As soon as our beloved moderators approve the posting that is.

I've only somewhat recently started publishing here on SOL, but I was a published fanfic author long before I discovered this wonderful sight.

I've had more than one story stolen, though never for profit. I'm always amazed not only at the sheer audacity of the plagiarists, but also at the response of the reading community when one of these glory thieves is exposed.

I suppose I've come to view it as a backhanded compliment, that they think my works are good enough to steal, even if I can't grasp the mindset involved. Though I will admit that I've pretty much stopped reporting when my old stories turn up under 'new' authors. There's no point. I know I wrote a good story, and if they need the ego boost that badly, then I suppose they're welcome to it.

Thanks to one of my reviewers, I went back and looked at Chimerical Ascension and found that I actually had completed chapters that I'd forgotten about. Therefore, I've got one chapter already in the queue. It should be up soon.
