Thank you to all who took a moment and wrote me a note so far as SECOND CHANCE TOO unfolds.
I've just posted Chapter Five. It is quite long and furthers the basis of the book. Here's hoping you all like the direction this goes.
I'm taking my time, enjoying the ride, and having fun with the new book. The pacing is slightly slower but picks up later. I promise.
Have a great day.
Good Evening,
The weekend is just about over and I am submitting for posting Chapter Four. It is quite long and sets the tone for the next phase of Cal's unusual life.
For those hoping to find the completed text in one place, it isn't ready yet. I write much slower than I did and SECOND CHANCE TOO is a testament to that.
The book is taking shape much better than I hoped because I spent several years hating the way it read. Suffice it to say that I keep trashing large blocks of text and rewriting with a vengeance.
The mail has continued to be positive, so I'm guessing it doesn't totally suck to this point.
To my friend Jerry, thanks for all the encouragement!
To all who take the time to write, you give me reason to continue. Thanks.

Have a great week!
Thanks to everyone who took the time to drop me a note.
I have just loaded CHAPTER TWO for posting, and discovered I loaded the earlier, unedited version.
I've sent in the correct one and it should appear soon.so it should appear in a short while.
My thanks go out to Lazeez for catching my format error and fixing it for me. There is a family atmosphere about SOL that is very precious to me.
For those concerned about starting in the middle of something, there will be no lost readers in SECOND CHANCE TOO. I am writing it to make any first time reader feel welcome and comfortable. As we go along you will see what I mean.
HOWEVER...
Going back and reading SECOND CHANCE will give you loads of additional information about our protagonist.
Have a great week!!
I have just submitted the Prologue and Chapters One & Two of the next book in the SECOND CHANCE Series.
Due to health challenges and time constraints, I am taking a slower, more deliberate pace with this book. Please don't be unhappy. Sometimes time helps the finished product more than timeliness.
As of these first chapters, Carl has no idea who he is, and we will let him wander a bit before bringing the past into his present.
As always, please drop a line and let me know what you think.
Have a great TUESDAY!
I've spent months and months working on the basics of the next installment of Second Chance.
It's been a long hard grind, but I'm finally reasonably happy with the new direction.
I've sent off the first set of chapters to Mike "O" and am waiting to see if he likes it as much as I do.
Once we get over that hump I will start posting.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
John
