The Swarm Universe story: Bound n Determined still exists! But Life continues and it's been a rocky road. The last chapter of this episode is closer to completion. Be warned, "Real Life" has been a roller coaster!
It has forced me to review the earlier chapters and find the errors and update to the Universes "Known Canon". Yes, the Canon is based on already published stories for the most part, a couple in-progress stories and a bunch of authors/moderator (read "universe owner") on-line discussions.
Sometimes it makes the writers' job a bit harder and it usually makes the flow of the universe much more cohesive and consistent. Forcing me to make sure that the young LT Kelly Jensen-Matthews has a consistent back story.

FIVE MONTHS!
Sorry Folks! My productivity has been really low. Mostly due to family issues. Primarily my Significant Other, we're trying to control several very painful and debilitating issues. That leaves me minding the proverbial house and being a home healthcare nurse. Good news is her condition is improving, but slowly. And it's given me time to reread the Swarm story I've been threatening (An early large group pick-up) and doing some cleanup.
The current plan is to drop it on the Swarm Author's Group and post it on SOL in early November. Then finish the next part and follow some of the characters that have been sneaking off into other stories.

Thanks to all those readers who are or were in the Armed Forces. As a Retired member of the US Army (1968 - 2001)I sorta know what it's like.
Story writing. Slowly happening.
The Boss, my very Significant Other, has been reacting to to the medications she is taking post Cancer surgery. Severe joint pain and depression. We're following up on it, but some days are worse than others. Yeah, I do a lot of the things about the house.
Still fighting that last chapter, sometimes one sentence a day. Getting there.
That said expect a couple very good Swarm stories to get posted soon, not mine but I've done some editing for other authors. Watch for them!

Around the trials and tribulations of "Real Life" I've been finalizing "That Swarm Story". I've got that last chapter to clean up. Then the process begins. Being a Swarm Cycle Universe story it has to be submitted to the "Keepers of The Canon" the Swarm Authors Board. The informal collection of active Swarm Cycle Authors and We "cuss and discuss" and I get a "Go/No Go". Go and I start posting. No Go and we go back to the "cuss/discuss" and make corrections.
I expect a Go.
Right now "Bound and Determined" sits at ~26,600 words and 8-10 chapters of irregular lengths. I will be posting a couple chapters a week. And I start writing again. There will be a Part Two.
As a teaser some of the Characters from "Bound and Determined" are showing up in my "Tulak: Battle of the Ridge" and Omachuck's "The Times They Are A' Changing" and his soon to be posted "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" All of those are years up time from this story.
First, Thanks to 20+ folks that visited my little site and read my stories in the last week. I really appreciate you stopping in and the votes.
Second, I am starting the final clean up process on the Swarm story: Bound and Determined. Thing are stabilizing around the ol' Homestead and I should have enuff time to get it altogether for the final Canon run thru! As a chapter gets done with review I'll begin posting that chapter. Yes, a much younger Kelly Jensen will be in this story.
Third, While I enjoy writing these stories I really like hearing the feedback from readers. The good, the bad and the ugly. I want to hear it. Comments, please.
