This is something different for me. It's a story that starts sort of slow (the actual fucking doesn't come until Chapter 3), the real story being how the two people in the story warm up to each other and allow each other into their personal spaces. I don't expect it to rate very highly in the voting, since most readers apparently want to get to the dirty parts right away. But I'm having fun with this format.

One of the drawbacks to writing a story with several chapters, rather than a series of stories, is that the site doesn't make it possible to vote on individual chapters, as far as I can tell. So if you're voting based on the content of the first few chapters, you might find that the following chapters might not reflect how you felt about the first ones. So as a favor to me, please refrain from voting until all five chapters have been published.

Rest assured that it will get steamier as it progresses, and will end up with Hank getting it on with Cindy's mother while Cindy's in the other bedroom fucking her father. Is that steamy enough for you? I hope it's worth your wait.

If you hadn't noticed, the "New Arcadia" series was reorganized into a single story by the webmaster, and a new addition to it has been incorporated into it as "Chapter 6" in the story. This was because he perceived it as a single continuing story, which in a way it was. I do think that Chapter 6 was different enough in tone to have counted as a separate story within the New Arcadia Universe, since it was essentially a retelling of the story from the point of view of Louise, the original narrator's fiance. But we'll accept the arrangement as it stands.

Will the series end here? I don't know. I think that a few of the other characters have their own stories to tell. But I'm not focusing on that right now. Instead, I've been working on a story called "The Yearbook Girl" about a photographer who falls in love with one of his subjects. In keeping with the webmaster's wishes, this one will be a story with multiple chapters. I would ask that you hold off on the voting until all five chapters are posted. The first chapter sort of sets up the characters, but the really steamy parts come along later.

As far as I know right now, the story is concluded. I've had some interesting reader responses to it, and some of their suggestions may lead to further episodes. And I may come up with a few plot lines of my own.

That's one reason I submitted the segments as separate stories, rather than chapters of a single story. Another reason was to satisfy some personal curiosity as to how people rated the content of the individual chapters. In a conversation I recently had with Athalia, my editor, she commented on how one of her installments of "The Glass Balls" rated lower in the polls than the others. The only real difference was it included some gay sex. Was it because of that that the episode didn't do as well? I got to wondering about that, so I put some gay sex into one episode of this series, just to see if the ratings were appreciably lower. So far, they aren't.

In the present series, one reader liked Chapter 4, but was put off by that male/male content (which consisted of George and a boy being masturbated by a female trainer who allowed them to masturbate each other to a climax). There was a reason for this: the trainer was evaluating George's ability to open his mind to various aspects of his sexuality. The experience played an important part in the next episode, where the trainer accepts George as a protege Guide, a position which is only open to those who wish to explore the limits of their sexual universe. It wasn't necessary for George to become bisexual; it was only necessary for him to give it a taste and see what it was like. That's what New Arcadia is all about. Similarly, George's fiancee Louise explores homosexual love with that same trainer and discovers her bisexuality.

This story comes, in part, from a comment that a reader made on Athalia's story "Mrs. Swinson's Summer Camp," which I had edited for her. The story was about an institution that taught young ladies how to pleasure themselves and learn about their bodies' sexual responses. In this story, the girls were taught these skills by their mothers and specially trained camp counselors. Athalia told me later that the reader had remarked about how young men could have benefited from such a learning experience as well. Her response was that boys didn't need it, since they were all familiar with masturbation from an early age; what they needed was not to encourage their libidos, but control them.

That got me thinking about how young people are introduced to sex, and "New Arcadia" is the result. Like Mrs. Swinson's establishment, it's strictly a fantasy; I know of no places that actually are like this, or even whether they could be. (Of course, if there were actually places like this, we wouldn't be hearing about them!) But I've created this space in my head and I'm inviting you to live in it for a while. Enjoy!

The story "A Very Private Beach" is now finished, and I'm pretty happy with it. From the votes, it looks like a few others are, too.

Dick and Liz are an interesting couple, and there may be some other stories about them, but time will tell about that. I'm going to be busy on other writing projects so it will probably be a while before I add anything to this site.
