Today is an opportunity to look back at 2017, recall what has happened to you and yours. Those events and items that made you smile, grasp them to your bosom and cross the invisible precipice to 2018, leaving all the negativity behind.
I and all my imaginary characters, wish you and yours a New Year that will surpass all your expectations.

Unknown by the folks at SOL, there was a third and final chapter of the story created in Feb. 2006. That chapter has been reedited and reproofed and should be posted shortly. For the few that read the first two chapters and enjoyed them, be on the lookout.
